old things

so I tried watching the 1983 version of jane eyre. I thought it might choke the life out of me if I continued with it. It actually made me afraid that I might wither and die from watching what appeared to me to be halting acting and small expressionless dialogue.

good god, I stopped the video before it sucked my soul out of me.
